Archer D9 - DHCP not working
Model : TD-W8968
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 0.9.1 0.1 v0041.0 Build 150514 Rel.54055n
ISP : Telstra Bigpond
Bought the Archer D9 V1 last week but have been having trouble with its DHCP function.
After some testing I found that the DHCP works normally for a while each time I reset the router, but the problem comes back after maybe a few hours.
From the system log I can see plenty of these error messages:
Wrong Server id or request an invalid ip
[*]No ip addresses to give, OFFER abandoned.
[*]REQUEST ip 561eb665 already reserved by someone
Is my router faulty? Or did I set anything wrong?
Basically all settings are default and I only run the Quick Setup after each reset.
Please help.

Although very old, this thread could be pointing to this problem.
I had the same kind of DHCP problem. Receiving NAK and WrongServerIDs.
My solution was quite simple after some head scratching I noticed that the time in the logs was wrong. Somehow the router lost its settings for the date and fell back to 1969 (which is funny, I hadn't seen a time chip reverting to 69 since pre year 2000 bug... usually they roll back to 1900).
Setting back the time properly and adding IP addresses for the NTP server was the solution.
Menues: Advanced / System Tools / Time settings.
Clues: Logs having time difference that made no sence.
Hard Reset: no
Directly connected to it: yes
Static IP: yes
Model: Archer C3200
WAN mode: DHCP (no pppoe), behind the ISP own router
