To be clear the is nothing wrong with my device as internet and wifi are working perfectly fine and I can connect to the device via the web interface using my tplink username and password 

 

it is the deco app that is the issue.

 

the app kicked me out and now will not let me login. The only message I get is:

 

Failed to login. Please try again

 

I have already tried the following 

 

connect via web interface using same username and password- this works

installed app on a new device - login still fails

removed and reinstalled the app on multiple devices - login still fails

 

 

However if I login to the app on my mobile using the mobile network it logs in but states it cannot connect to my deco devices. If I then turn wifi back on an connect to the wifi the app refreshes and I can now access.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

Can I have the current Deco APP version?

The latest version is 3.9.50 for IOS and 3.9.42 for Android. Please make sure the Deco APP is up-to-date.

-Do you mean after switching from mobile data to local WiFi, Deco can now be connected and shows up properly on the APP?

It would be highly appreciated if you could record a short video clip of the whole process.

as per the above I can confirm the app is the latest version 

 

I was able to get back in after unplugging all the deco devices then plugging them back in

 

ever since this issue all my kasa/tapo smart plugs as well as the deco devices show as offline in google home

 

i have tried login in to the kasa/tapo app which initially works but when I switch to the google home app then back it has logged me out

reinstalled the tapo app logged in, relinked it to google home and it worked for 5 min then everything shows as offline 

 

go to the tapo app and it's logged me out again 

 

something is clearly wrong as multiple apps for multiple tp link products are all having login issues

Hi, thanks for the update.

Did you enable "Link Account-> Google Assistant" for both Deco APP and Kasa APP?

-By the way, as both Tapo APP and Kasa APP can be used to control HS100/KP105, did you have both installed on the mobile phone or just Tapo APP?

 

I noticed you had both Deco and Kasa plugs for a while. Did the issue start recently?

Or did the issue of "2*Kasa plugs offline on the Google Home" just start after rebooting the Deco X68 in order to fix the Deco APP login issue?

Can you also help me figure out the correct path to reproduce this issue, such as:

-Unlink/Link again the TP-Link account with Google Home to refresh the Kasa plugs' network status

Result: Kasa plugs are online for 5 mins, then everything shows as offline again on the Google Home. In the meantime, both Deco App and Tapo App are logged out.
