Model: TL-WPA4220 KIT
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version:

Hello.

The adapter has all 3 LEDs on (power, powerline and wifi) and the extender also has the same 3 LEDs on, but the SSID does not appear on any device. What can it be?

Thank you.

Hi,

If the TL-WPA4220 (the bigger of the two devices) indeed has the exact 3 LEDs on as the TL-PA4010 (the smaller one), then this should mean that Wi-Fi is off, because the Wi-Fi LED is the fourth LED (marked by red arrow in picture below) on the TL-WPA4220, which is the LED the TL-PA4010 doesn't have.

In case the fourth LED is indeed off, then you need to press and hold the "Wi-Fi" button (located right below the Wi-Fi LED) for about 5 seconds and that should turn Wi-Fi on.

Hi. Thanks.

I have all the leds on except "Ethernet".

TpLink Utilty shows it:

Everything seems fine, but no device shows the TP-Link SSID.

If the Wi-Fi LED is on, then Wi-Fi should be working. If not, then this TL-WPA4220 is probably faulty.

As a last check, can you please verify that the SSID configured in your TL-WPA4220 (Device_a3a4) is indeed the SSID you are expecting to see?

Reset wpa4220 to the factory settings.

You can also connect to the web interface of wpa4220 through the wifi router with IP address of wpa4220. This address you can get from web interface of the wifi router.
