Eliminate offline client entries from router memory
Is TPLink ever going to add a feature to remove long-disconnected entries from the client list without resetting the router to factory default. I have 6 of these routers, change clients and configurations weekly, and cannot spend the time to re-configure from scratch every time I want to remove a device that has connected to the network anytime since the last factory reset! This should be a simple fix, and I'm sure there are many commercial and home users who would appreciate this. It is a NO BRAINER decision. The router records every single client (we do use MAC "allow list" filtering, but the devices that are detected but never added to the allow list remain in the client list ever after they have been gone for months!
Please address this feature. I suspect it is a problem with other TPLink routers, and cannot believe your engineers would allow such a simple problem to persist. Just because YOU don't ever need this feature does not mean it is not important, and it diminishes the usefullness of an otherwise excellent product.
I know this has been a problem for an extended time. Why don't you address it and make many users happy both now and in the future. Alienating users who try to be loyal to your product line is no way to run a business.
Thank you for your valuable time in reading this request.
