HC220-G1 and HC220-G5 compatability
I have 3 HC220-G1 instances (EOL), can I add more HC220-G5 units to the same mesh?

Hi, were 3*HC220-G1 provided by the internet service provider? Do you plan to purchase HC220-G5 from the local market?
Since both HC220-G1 and HC220-G5 have service provider models, they may each have customized firmware versions for a specific ISP.
If either HC220-G1 or HC220-G5 is offered by the ISP, it is recommended to check with them for confirmation as well.

The G1 were purchased from the ISP years ago, they don't have info about it.
I plan to purchase G5 from my local store.
Can I change FW to make sure it is compatible?

just in case, I've double-checked with the senior engineers, and they confirmed that HC220-G5 can't be used to establish an EasyMesh network with the old HC220-G1.
