  @Joseph-TP

The link you provided takes me to "Business Product Support", is that correct? So email  Support.SMB@tp-link.com? If you want me to send it there I can, but this isn't for business.

That didn't really make sense to me, so I submitted a "Email Support" request through https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/contact-technical-support/#E-mail-Support I tried attaching the device backup, but I'm not sure if it properly attached to the support request as it may only allow pictures such as jpg, png, pdf, etc.

Thanks,

Aaron

Hi@apreslin,

You should select 'Home Product Support'.

However, no worries, if you attach the forum ID and model number along with the issue details, the local support will review the case history here.

No issues with MLO on my 3 x RE655BE in AP mode and with seperate wifi bands configured, however I'm using 3 pin (UK) version running firmware 1.0.7 build 20250205 releasel 32897.

  @PindDK Have you tried coming in and out of wifi range with any MLO device?

That's what triggers instability on my RE655BE.

  @heffeque

No issues going out of range and then re-entering on any MLO device.

I assume you're now using the latest official 1.0.7 firmware instead of 1.0.4?

Oh dear...I think I might also be experiencing the same. Today none of my clients  were connecting to one of my RE655BE units. So I've now turned off MLO and also 6ghz wifi on all 3 units to see if this fixes it.

  @PindDK In my case, having MLO on is not the issue, the issue is having clients connected to MLO (but yeah, in your case, by turning off MLO you'll make sure the AP is stable). I'd say that there's no reason to turn off the 6 GHz band.

I do have good news:

I just installed a beta firmware that's just a few hours old, did some tests where all previous versions used to fail almost instantly and... it held on!

So it's a very good sign.

I'll keep you posted in a week or so to confirm if it's still finally stable or not.

Cheers!

Hi@PindDK,

Thank you for reporting your issue to our community.

Is one of your RE655BEs experiencing client disconnection? Are the other two RE655BEs abnormal?

In addition, can you provide your network topology, such as:

ISP modem—router—3-RE655BE )))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

@apreslin   @PindDK ,

I have sent a beta firmware to you via Message. Please check it and update to it.

Here is the FAQ for How to upgrade the firmware of my range extender

Please reply to me here if you have any updates.

Thanks, I have updated to the beta firmware, we'll take some time to see if the stability/connectivity issue is resolved.

As far as the secondary issue of WPS staying enabled on 2.4GHz and 5GHz even though it's set to be disabled, right off the bat I can see there is no change with that issue.
