I cannot find where to post about the archer d5 so in the end i gave up and posted here...

Basically I dont understand how the vpn access works on the archer d5 , all your tutorials have a VPN section that the d5 doesnt have i only have firewall routes forwarding etc..
I am trying to make it so i can dial in to work from home and then RDC to a server or two if needed.
Is there any recommended clients and set up methods documented to do this ? I dont want a permanent tunnel just dial in access.
n.b. because its fibre not adsl the d5 is in access point mode it was the only way i could use the rj45 port as the wan port..

thanks
Paul

As I checked its specifications, it supports VPN passthrough and IPsec VPN.

What kinds of VPN connection do you need? It is better to provide topology.
