Firmware Version: current

Hi All

I have an AX73 which was connected via its WAN port to a Starlink router and hence out to the internet. ( Dynamic IP). Worked fine.

If the Starlink rebooted, the AX73 would automatically re establish the WAN link once the Starlink router had booted. ...

I have replaced the Starlink with a SKy hub connected to fibre. Same setup ...AX73 Wan port goes into on of the ports on the Sky HUB ..and out to the internet from there.

Works fine .

However...if the Sky hub reboots...the AX73 will not reestablish its WAN link once the Sky hub has booted. I have to release and renew the link .

I need this to be automatic like it was with the Starlink .

Any ideas.

its set to Dynamic IP .on the WAN port

  @Joseph-TP

Hi , thanks for getting back to me.

I have solved the problem with a work around.

The Sky Hub has an ip address of xxx.xxx.xxx.001 with the DHCP service range being xxx.xxx.xxx.002 to xxx.xxx.xxx.100

I have changed this so the DHCP starts at xxx.xxx.xxx.003.

I have changed the WAN setting in the AX73 to a static ( not Dynamic IP ) IP setting with an IP address of xxx.xxx.xxx.002 along with a subnet of 255.255.255.0 and gateway of xxx.xxx.xxx.001 and appropriate DNS settings.

This all works fine.

Shouldnt have to do this ....but no matter

Hi@Gtrem,

Thank you for reporting your issue to our community.

Did you try to consult Sky hub support to confirm whether you can modify the settings on Sky hub? Or, are there any settings that need to be modified on router AX73 to establish WAN connection?

Please remove Archer AX73 and connect the wired PC directly to the LAN port of Sky hub to see if there is the same problem?

If the PC can establish WAN connection normally after Sky hub restarts, we can try to do mac clone on Archer AX73 to copy the PC's Mac address. How do I configure MAC Address Clone
