Model: RE705X
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 4.10.39(build812)

My internet went out a day ago. The extender stopped working and now out of nowhere it cannot pick up the 2.4ghz wifi from my router and that is the sole purpose for my extender. The router itself is working and the 5ghz works on the extender and I've factory reset and rebooted and connected directly to Ethernet to try and solve the issue. Please help!

Hi@GhostGirl,

Thank you for contacting our community.

Here are some suggestions may help you:

  • Test the 2.4Ghz of the main router separately to see if it can work;
  • Change wireless name of 2.4Ghz and set up the extender again;
  • If you can, please enable the 2.4Ghz guest network, and connect the extender to it for a comparison.

  @GhostGirl also I have WiFi 6 if that provides any more information. Like I have been using it for a few months without a problem and now all of a sudden it stopped working completely.
