Model : TD-W8970

Hardware Version : V3

Firmware Version : TD-W8970v3_0.9.1_1.2_up_boot(150427)_2015-04-27_17

ISP : Telecom

Hello,
I bought a TD-W8970_v3. Installed it and upgrated the firmware.
I shares wi-fi and navigate on the internet without problem.
The issue cames when I created a mediaServer share in order to wi-fi connect an USB drive (on the router port) with my TV (Samsung ES6700 with firmware just upgraded) It sees the mediaServer sharing but when it try to access it I get the following error message:

"Request cannot be completed. Media Play will return to main menu".

The same media Server is correctly seen by my Samsung Galaxy S3 instead so I suppose the configuration is right.
Any idea on how to solve the issue?

I was not able to find any hint on the web…Please, help!

Sounds like a DLNA compatibility issue as the Samsung Galaxy S3 works but Samsung ES6700 doesn't work.

Yes, it seems so.
Yesterday I did the last try by connecting a network cable instead wifi but nothing changed.
I'm very disappointed about this product, moreover in the TP-Link W8970 user guide the word DLNA is not mentioned at all, very strange but perhaps this is a way to justify possible incompatibilities .

Any suggestion is welcomed.

I hope a next firmware upgrade could help fixing a possible DLNA incompatibility.
