Hello,

Just wondering if someone can help me. We live in an old house with multiple levels. Having difficulty getting the signal strength beyond a medium with the two wireless units. We are not able to wire these in. I want to know if it is worth me getting one of the outside Mesh units to extend the internet strength down towards a wing of the house where the teenagers and main internet users are.

I am really stuck as to how to improve the network we arent heavy uses however at peak time each teenager has a couple of devices. They are currently saying the internet is bad. When I look at the app it says it is all good. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Deco BE65-5G itself can't be installed outdoors. It can work with an external 5G/LTE antenna to improve the 5G signal strength.

If there is a nearby 5G/LTE service tower, adding a 5G router did help to improve the wireless coverage in the dead spots.

Moreover, if the whole house is under the same electric service meter, and you did have or hear of Powerline Adapters, Deco PX50 might also be a good choice:

What is Powerline?

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
