Hi All

I have a TD-W8968 as my ADSL Modem and I connected an Archer_C7 AC1750 Router to extend my network to another room with Dual Band Gigabit capability.

Now my question is that: How can I add a static route to my PC which is connected to my Archer_C7 Router and has a different IP Range and subnet mask to my TD-W8968 ADSL Modem?

My ADSL Modem's IP is: 192.168.1.1
My Archer_C7 Router's IP is: 192.168.0.1
My PC's IP is: 192.168.0.120

Now I want to add Port Forwarding rules to my PC which is not directly visible from my ADSL Modem (Because it’s behind another Router and has an IP in a different subnet of my ADSL Modem)

Any solutions?
Thanks

@Mohammad_Soft
I am not an expert on these matters.
But I will tell you what I would do:

Go to "Static Route" and click on "Add New".
Then, fill the options like this:
Destination IP Address: 192.168.0.120 (The IP address you want to achieve on the subnet of the Archer's C7)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 (subnet mask to help the router understand the subnet configuration)
Gateway: 192.168.1.x (the gateway that can help pointing the destination you want, so the x should be the IP that the Archer C7 has on the main network that your modem is managing)
Interface: LAN
Status: Enabled

Did it worked?

Yeah!

It worked!

Thank You

You are the man !! :D

I added a static route with the following parameters:

Destination Address: 192.168.0.0/24 (Because the prefix also must be specified to make nodes on 192.168.0.x subnet be visible from outside)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.102 (This is my Router's IP relative to my Modem's network mask)
Interface: br0 (LAN)
Metric: 1

Now with these settings, I made Port Forwarding rules enabled for my PC IP: 192.168.0.120 from my ADSL Modem with IP: 192.168.1.1 !
(A PC with a different network range can be addressed from another network range)
