Model: Archer AX3000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20240426 rel.31941(5553)

I have had an Archer AX3000 in use since FEB of this year and have enjoyed it without issue. However, all of sudden and with no precipitating event, several** of my spouse's and my iphone's apps can no longer connect to the internet on our wifi network. I power cycled both our router and modem as well as performed a factory reset on the router and ensured the firmware is up to date. All our apps work fine on other people's wifi networks. Additionally, our computers (one PC, one MAC) both work fine on our wifi network. It's just certain iphone apps and it just happened yesterday.

**Apps which DON'T WORK AT ALL (no internet connection) include (but perhaps aren't limited to): App Store, NYT Audio, Reddit, Software Update (in settings), Cinemark, Lyft, Target, Amazon, Etsy, VRBO

Apps which PARTLY WORK: Chrome (can get google results but no other sites load), My Verizon (seems to load but I can't sign in)

Apps which SEEM TO WORK FINE: Youtube, Instagram

Changing the security or channel doesn't seem to help.

Any ideas? It's frankly just baffling and I hope there's a solution that doesn't involve me having to buy another router after I just bought this one about 4 months ago. frown

Hi @panchar,

Thank you for contacting our community.

Could I confirm again what the model number is of your router? You can refer to How to find the model number of your TP-Link device

  • For your issue, please try the following suggestions:
  • Please reboot your phones;
  • Change DNS server to 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 on the router:
  • Please check whether you set parental control, which makes some Apps blocked.
  • Turn on WLAN & Cellular data for Apps, Delete or Turn VPN off and Reset iPhone Network. Please refer to How to fix some iPhone apps say no internet connection? for details.

In addition, please tell me what are the models and operating systems of your iPhones?

Is there any error message when the Apps tried to access internet? Please take screenshots with error message.

Best Regards~

@Joseph-TP Thank you for your prompt reply.

Model: Archer AX3000 Pro(US)

Ver: 1.6

I will attempt the steps that you suggested later and respond when completed. I can say that rebooting the phones alone (which we already attempted) did not resolve the issue. Additionally, most of the apps don't show any particular error message and instead just shows a spinning wheel or no content loading. Additionally, we have never set up parental controls but this doesn't rule out the possibility that some are on there. Nevertheless, I'll update this thread later today once I've attempted your other suggestions.
