Maximizing Battery Life and Lifespan of MiFi products

“Battery life” is the amount of time your device runs before it needs to be recharged. “Battery lifespan” is the amount of time your battery lasts until it needs to be replaced. Maximize both and you’ll make full use of your WiFi products.
Tips for Extending Battery Life and Lifespan
Charge the battery properly
- Use the original power adapter that came with the MiFi products.
- Charge as much or as little as needed. We recommend you drain the battery to under 10% and then charge it fully overnight.
- Unplug the charger when the battery is fully charged.
- Keep it cool and avoid extreme ambient temperatures. The recommended operating temperature is about 20℃±5℃.
Choose settings that use less battery
- Keep the firmware of MiFi products up-to-date.
- Turn on Power saving mode.
Keep it half-charged when you store it long term.
- Do not fully charge or fully discharge your device’s battery — charge it to around 50%.
- Power down the device to avoid additional battery use.
- Place the MiFi in a cool, moisture-free environment that’s less than 90° F (32° C).
- If you plan to store your device for longer than six months, charge it to 50% every six months.
- When storing the battery alone, avoid direct contact with metals
- Avoid external forces on the battery, such as falling, squeezing, impact, and so on.
