Model: RE200
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.23 Build 230418 Rel.60395n (6985)

TP_Link RE200 created a second Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz) with the extension "_EXT".
I added it to "wpa_supplicant .conf" under the primary network, in RPi-Zero 2W.
RPi-Zero 2W connects to the primary network (with a weak signal) with no problem. Then I select this new network (with extension _EXT and with a strong signal) from the drop-down menu of the RPi Wi-Fi icon. After a while, it prompts me to enter the password (?! - it was given already in the file "wpa_supplicant .conf"), I did but it does not connect to this network.
I am using "Real VNC Viewer" for connection to RPi-Zero 2W.
How to force RPi-Zero 2W to connect to the extended network. This network has access to the Internet.

RE200 is working in Extender mode (amplifier).

Hi@Rysiek1952,

Thank you for contacting our community.

The Raspberry Pi will stay connected to the high-priority main network even if the signal is weak, and will not automatically switch to a new network by default.
So, it is recommended that you change the priority of the extended network to be higher than the main network.

Best Regards~
