Turn off WiFi Backhaul
Hi! I have a network that contains three decos (in AP mode), NetGear GS108Tv3 managed switches, and a MikroTik hex router. When one of the switches is rebooted, the Decos turn on wifi backhaul (it's 1 bar of wifi - very poor). Once the switch is up, its loop detection mechanism is way faster than Deco's, and it puts down the link between switches.
Currently, I need to disable all loop protection on all switches to make this thing work. This is not an ideal solution for the rest of the network. The STP is not suitable because the Deco is not an edge device and emits BPDU packets, which rules out fast port setting.
Is there a way to disable wifi backhaul between Deco and force them to stick to Ethernet?
