XE75 Pro Firmware for Heavy IoT Users
XE75 Pro Firmware for Heavy IoT Users
Hi there TP-Linkers.
I have 3 x XE75Pro in my home.
I have a *lot* of smart home (mostly on the 2.4Ghz) as such the initial use of XE75 Pro was pretty wonky as the balance of them was off.
I have since then created the IoT SSID and migrated all of the IoT nodes into this SSID.
I have not enabled the 6Ghz network for anything else than intern-node traffic. (I tried to merge it with the 5Ghz and that was not a good idea as it stalled all traffic)
I am running a pre-release / beta version of the firmware (have been for more than 6 months now).
New firmwares are being released but I am asked to stay at current release until further notice.
What I want to know is, when can I start taking official releases? I mean at one point what I am running must become mainstream no?
If not - should I just sell these nodes and get a newer hardware from TP or other??
Thanks.
/Jonas
PS.
I have 25 5Ghz clients and 32 2.4Ghz clients and the nodes are connected wirelessly (still trying to run wires in the house but it is hard).
Ds.

I have downloaded the firmware but ONLY the main deco will take the update/ all others stay the previous firmware.
What I have done.
go to 192.168.68.1 and navigate to the firmware update.
1st trial - it all hung had to restart the procedure.
2nd triel seemed to go well but only 1st updated.
restarted (hard) all nodes.
3rd and 4th try only main deco will get the new firmware.
what do I do now?

Hi, thanks for the update.
You can find the IP address of each Deco XE75 Pro on the Deco App.
It is recommended to log in to the individual web interface of each satellite Deco to upload the beta firmware.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Thank you very much.
