Mesh Deco x50 unstable connection - CPU very high at 100%
Hello
About 2 years ago I upgraded my configuration of Deco M5 to X50
I have 3 x X50 + 1 x M5
Until now I was fully satisfied , but the WIFI from the Deco started to become slower and unstable , despite my internet connection ( fiber ) is excellent
The speedtest crashed systematically as the connection was unstable !
Very weird that was not directly related to a firmware upgrade .... or that was not immediate
I noticed that CPU was always at 100% and memory usage fairly high ( even if I did check before and did not know what was the expected baseline )
I restarted several times the system , no change !!
After enabling "Access Point" mode instead of "WIFI Router (default)" mode
and disabling the "Beamforming" option (accessible via the application's Advanced Settings),
I regained a stable and fast connection.
It was clearly this last option "Beamforming" that was causing the most problems in my configuration (3 x X50 + 1 x M5).
The CPU, which was always at 100% (and a source of instability and slowness), has now returned to 9% in normal mode, and the memory usage has dropped from ~80% to 62%.
