Deco X50 - Was Working Fine, Now Blinking Blue LED & App Connection Issues
Hi everyone,
Hoping someone here can shed some light on an issue I woke up to this morning with my Deco X50.
My Deco X50 setup has been working perfectly until today. Last night, everything was fine, but this morning I found I had no internet access.
Here's what happened:
- I noticed the main Deco unit was showing a yellow LED.
- The TP-Link Deco app confirmed it couldn't connect.
- My first thought was to restart the main Deco, but unfortunately, that didn't solve the problem.
- Next, I tried disconnecting and then reconnecting the Ethernet cable to the main Deco.
- After reconnecting the cable, the LED changed to blinking blue, and it's been stuck like that since.
The app is now giving me a couple of messages:
- "Make sure the main Deco is working properly reconnect, alternatively restart the main deco until the LED turns solid green, and simply, can't connect to deco."
I'm a bit stuck on what to try next. Has anyone experienced this specific sequence (working fine -> yellow LED -> then blinking blue after a cable reconnect) and found a solution? Any suggestions on how to get my main Deco back online and hopefully to a solid green (or white) LED?
