Compatibility issues

Hello,
I have been operating perfectly fine for years with a system of 4 x Deco P9 which have the Powerline back haul AND Wifi connectivity between all 4. There is one on Hardware V2 the rest are V1.
These then connect from the Main Deco via its ethernet port to a pair of Powerline AV1000 units TL-PA7027P which then connect to a Plusnet router, via a standard switch outlet.
But Tuesday morning I found one of the latter to be dead. No lights, nothing.
So for replacement, thought I would get a newer Powerline and went for the AV2000 (I just thought it might be quicker - though currently I don't actually need it to be), the TL-PA9020P pair. But upon using these, I find the link speed is well down. About half. Everything seems to work though, i.e. the Deco interconnections (Powerline and Wifi) and I get streaming OK via our Smart TV (which connects to a P9 ethernet port).
Have I introduced an incompatibilty somewhere?
Any help would be most appreciated.
Chris

David,
Thanks for asking about this. I am wondering if I have a faulty pair somewhere.
I have been running with one of the old Powerline pair (since one failed, it's AV1000) and added in one of the new pair - the TL-PA9020P (AV2000). That is more stable, and gives me about 45-50 mbps download. When both new ones are in, my router internet link goes off and on quite alarmingly, more so when I use a Speetest test!
The first screenshot is with the mixed set (computer is the lower one, with the upper one connecting to the router).
I also attach a shot of the new 9020's both in service if I can....
So when both are in use currently, it's better than I described at first. Why that happened I don't know.... This time the Internet Link is stable, I get 53mbps using Speedtest.
I know I used to get easily (even over the P9's) about 70mbps (and 20d/l) which matches with the router sync (70 / 20 rock solid).
Now I have this utility I can also say the firmware is 3.2.4_902114_190506_901 on both. Is that current?
Does this help - sorry if the goal posts have changed??

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
I don't think there is any compatibility between Deco P9 and the TL-PA9020P Kit.
Can I have a screenshot of the powerline link rate on TL-PA9020Pkit?
(It can be viewed on the powerline utility: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/tl-pa9020p-kit/#Utility)
Have you tried to plug the extended 9020P into another power socket if available?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi, thanks for the feedback.
Your current firmware is even newer than the one on the official website, and I think you have the latest firmware version.
"So when both are in use currently, it's better than I described at first. Why that happened I don't know.... This time the Internet Link is stable, I get 53mbps using Speedtest."
I can't explain either. Maybe the New 9020P kit needs some time to get used to the current network.
It is suggested to monitor the network for a while to see whether the powerline connection can stay as it is.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
