Model: Deco S4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.5.2 build 20240927

A week ago I found all the information of my wifi network restarted for no apparent reason. After resetting everything, I have noticed a connected wifi wristband that says Linux, I had never seen it and I do not remember giving it access to anything with that name. As a measure I block the connection and then it appears again with the name Linux-2. What could it be?

  @Drwtg

Hi, apart from the device name, the Deco App should also list the MAC address.

You can do a MAC address lookup, and it might tell you the brand of this device:

https://macvendors.com/

It is very likely to be a mobile phone or laptop that uses a random MAC address.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
