Slow speeds - external ariel

Hi,
I ha e a mesh system set up in my house and am getting good speeds throughout.
I also have a Cabin at the end of my garden and have hard wired, with cat 8 cable, an external aerial (eap225) to allow a more stable connection. The signal strength is very strong throughout the house and The Cabin but the speeds when connected to The Cabin feed are extremely slow (1-5mbps).
I have tried setting the access point as high priority and have changed the download limit to unlimited but nothing seems to work.
All firmware is up to date.
Any suggestions?
Many Thanks

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
Can I have the model number of the home router? is it Deco?
How about the current firmware version of the router/Deco?
Is it a very long cable from the main house to the cabin?
You can test the Ethernet connection speed from the same Ethernet port in the main house to see how much of the Ethernet speed you can receive.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi, thank you for reaching out.
I have a plusnet router (GRV9517UWAC34-A).
Deco X55 AX3000s x 6.
Main deco is connected to router with a 5m cat 8 cable and this connects to the external ariel with a 50m cat 8 cable.
I get 40 - 50 maps download speed throughout the house and 17.5 upload.
Many Thanks
Tony

Hi, thank you very much for your feedback.
I think it is probably due to the long 50m Ethernet cable.
Since the Plusnet router (GRV9517UWAC34-A) is also a DHCP router, could you please help me run the following test:
- Connect the EAP225 via the same 50m cable directly to the Plusnet Hub, then check how much of the wireless speed on the EAP225 this time
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.
