Archer C6 not giving 1Gpbs over WAN

I've had this router for several years and i have never really tested the performance, however lately i've been having some internet issues at home so i was running some tests and found i'm only getting about 300-400Mbps over wired connection. I ran the test by connecting the same computer and using the same cable directly to the C6 and running speed tests, then connecting the same setup directly to my ISP modem (to which the C6 is normally connected to)
Any ideas why?

Hi@Sofortune ,
Welcome to our community.
Please use https://www.speedtest.net or the speedtest APP/CLI(https://www.speedtest.net/apps) for testing speed accurately.
Please test the link speed of the router's LAN ports: How to check the associated/link speed on a wired client
Please ensure the speed of your ISP/Modem is sufficient by connecting a PC directly to the ISP's Modem/Router.
To verify the wired (Ethernet) speed of your Router, please connect the PC directly to the LAN ports of the Router, ensuring all Ethernet cables are CAT5E or above.

Hi,
Not every Gigabit router on earth is able to shuffle a full Gigabit of Internet data through itself. The version 2 of the Archer C6 was designed back in 2018 and even then is was already kind of a low-end router.
Anyway, please check whether the "NAT Boost" option is enabled on your C6 V2. In case it happens to be disabled, then should be able to improve the speed by enabling it.
