TD-W8970 power saving causing problems
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
We have a customer using the TD-W8970 with 4 Cisco SPA514G VoIP phones plugged directly in to the LAN ports.
All 4 ports repeatedly disconnect and reconnect, shown as "LAN Up" and "LAN Down" in the router logs. Only 1 packet is dropped if you are pinging the devices, but that's enough to stop audio for a few seconds.
Other devices such as a laptop work perfectly.
This is a known problem, and the solution provided by Cisco is to disable power saving, or "Green Ethernet" on the router. Is there a way to do this on the TD-W8970
If that's not possible, am I able to force the ports to 100mbps/full duplex instead of Gigabit?
Any suggestions appreciated.
