Hi 

 

I'm not able to add a device as it says I should be connected to tp link wifi,and use a password that is not the login password. However, it's not working. I added all the passwords I know, but it keeps saying that the password is not correct.

Please tell me what the hardware and firmware version of your extender: How to find the hardware and firmware version of my TP-Link device

What is the model of your router? 

Please try to hard reset the extender and configure it via App or GUI.
