KP400 Scheduled power On only lasts for one hour
Good morning.
I recently purchased a KP400 smart plug, and have string lights plugged into plug 2. I installed the Kasa app on my Samsung Android phone, and have also set up access to these plugs via my Alexa.
The problem I am encountering, from the start is this: I want to turn the lights on at 7PM, and turn them off at 11PM on the deck out back.
To that end, I created 2 schedules in the Kasa App... 1) to "Turn On Power" by time, 7:00 PM, and 2) to "Turn Off Power" by time, 11:00 PM. The lights WILL turn on at 7:00 PM, but an HOUR later (8:00 PM) they turn off. I have no idea WHY this is happening. but it happens consistently. I then turned off the schedules on the app, and set up 2 routines in Alexa, exactly the same. and of course the lights turned on at 7:00PM, but again turned OFF at 8:00PM.
Can someone help to troubleshoot this ? As a retired programmer analyst, this SOUNDS like a coding issue of some sort, but that's just how my mind sees it.
