Hello,

My BE800 received a FW update an hour ago, 1.2.4 Build 20250414 rel.18315(4555

Is that correct?

I mean, stupid as i am... i do not see any notification, nor a changelog about that on the forum.

Am i going good on this?

Hi,

You shouldn't need to worry. I am not aware of any instances where TP-Link pushed a "wrong" firmware to their routers.

I am sure the product webpage for the Archer BE800 will be updated soon with the changelog for version 1.2.4.

If you don't want your BE800 to update its firmware without your consent again, then disable the "Auto Update" feature. For some reason TP-Link changed their mind and decided to activate "Auto Update" by default in recent firmware versions.
