Can someone please advise. Once you have connected the main Deco to the modem and you place the 2 other DECO in a double storey home, do you connect your devices to the Doco closet to the device or just connect it to the home WiFi.

Did the "Home WiFi" here refer to the wireless network on the ISP router?
Deco will broadcast its own WiFi if this is what you want to know.
Usually, it is suggested to disable the WiFi network of the original router and leave the Mesh WiFi only for the whole house.
