Archer AX6000 V1 Suspicious Online Firmware Update
Archer AX6000 V1 Suspicious Online Firmware Update

Hello community, I just received an online update request on my AX6000 V1 admin console. Before running it I decided to check it out on the official TP-Link website. There's no mention of it anywhere. Previous builds were 1.3.0, 1.3.1, 1.3.2, etc. Then all of a sudden it jumps to 1.4.2 and nothing that resembles 1.4.0 or 1.4.1.
Is this legit? Is my router hacked?
Here's a screen shot of the console (Advanced/System/Firmware Update):
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The link I've sent is just for reference to be sure that the FW release is legit.
If your router is with a US FW region and you've received the update through the auto-update feature then you're good to go with it - it should be for the proper region.
In many cases the new FW releases are issued via auto-update feature before being published on the regional support portals.

Hi @link3r ,
Welcome to our community.
As Terziyski said, if you receive an automatic update notification in your router's admin interface, you can try updating.
If you have any feedback, feel free to update here.

I haven't done it yet due to some family emergencies. Also, the description states that it is irreversible so I may take my time doing this one
At this point, there is no compelling reason for me to go ahead with this upgrade but we will see. Sorry to hear of your mishap - I hope there is a good solution for you.
