M7350 and Volvo

Hello,
I have a problem with my Volvo XC40. The M7350 mobile router that I got has security set to WPA/WPA2 AES, but on the Volvo screen it shows up with a "!" saying that the security is set to TKIP, and that it should be switched to AES.
I saw a recent and very similar thread from another user (https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/713760) with another router model. For him, a beta version of the router firmware managed to fix the issue.
Therefore I wanted to ask if it is possible to implement the same fix for the M7350 model as well.
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Kind regards

Hi, thank you very much for the time and patience.
It seems the official release takes much longer than I expected.
If possible, you can download this version first, then manually upload it to the web admin page:
M7350 Added WPA2 only to Improve Network Connection with Car Audio System
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi, welcome to the community. The official firmware for M7350_V8 that supports WPA2 only is in the release process. The firmware should be ready in the next 1-2 weeks.
It is suggested to wait for the new firmware notification in the tpMiFi APP.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Is there any news about the update?
Do I have to manually download it from somewhere and upload it using th tpMifi page?
Kind regards

@David-TP Hi David,
I tested the new firmware and I'm happy to report back that I finally got the car connected to the internet, and also tested the connection by downloading an app from the car's store.
Thank you very much for your help!
Kind regards
