Building EasyMesh Ethernet backhaul | Archer AX55 Pro + Archer BE3600 BE230

Hello,
I want to build an EasyMesh w/ Ethernet backhaul.
Currently I have an AX55 Pro and I want to buy the 2nd router to build the mesh network. I'm thinking to buy the new BE230 with WiFi7. My doubt is which one should I should use as main router and which one as satellite. My work place (and most important for wifi coverage) it is where the satellite will be located, and where I mostly use my laptop with Wifi7.
Will the wifi 7 of BE230 work if the main router is the AX55 Pro?
Thanks!

Hi@lorenz29 ,
Thank you for getting back to me.
Sadly but yes, MLO/IoT/Guest Wi-Fi cannot be expanded in an EasyMesh network in most models for now.
However, we are actively planning to gradually support this feature for some models, so stay tuned for future updates!

Hi@lorenz29,
Welcome to our community.
Archer BE230 supports easymesh technology, so it can be used as a satellite router to form a mesh network with Archer AX55 Pro.
After successfully setting up the network, Archer AX55 Pro still does not support the WiFi 7 protocol.
Since the performance of the satellite router is limited by the main router, it is recommended that you set the Archer BE230 as the main router to maximize the performance of the entire network.
Best Regards~

Thanks @Joseph-TP for your answer. I finally bought 2 BE230 to build the mesh network with full wifi7.
Now the issue I discovered is that I can't replicate IoT/Guest Network on satellite BE230. Why is that? Any ETA of this feature? It's a pity such a restriction.
