Model: RE330
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hey,

I got myself a tp-link Repeater RE335 v1 to get a wifi/ethernet connection close to my balcony.
Outside I dont have any wifi with my Netgear Orbi RBRE960 Mesh Network - I got 2 Satelittes and one router from Netgear.

So I got myself a TP-Link EAP225 Outdoor repeater and to laid an ethernet cable through the wall to connect it with my RE335 repeater.

Problem is, after setting up the indoor repeater my iPhone, macmini etc stop working with the wifi from Netgear - even though the RE335 Wifi is called _EXT
When unplugging the repeater the wifi connects again.

I just need the indoor repeater to collect the wifi and transfer it via ethernet cable outside to my EAP225.

Please help this is frustrating. What could be wrong?

Thank you!

Hi@Datenpapst ,

Welcome to our community.

Have you located the problem to the point that only EAP225 joins the network, which causes the network to drop?
If so, the influencing factor should be EAP225. EAP225 is a business product. I suggest you go directly to the Business Community to start a new thread.

UPDATE: I found out, that it stops working when I plug in the EAP225 via ethernet cable.
