Model: TL-WPA4220 KIT
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version:

Hi All,

I've just bought Powerline Wi-fi Extender, the Adapter is plugged into the Starlink modem via ethernet, the extender is in the same room on the same ring main. after pairing, the three Leds (except the ethernet indicator) come on after a while go off, the power one flashes then they come on again and the whole process is repeated. I've tried pairing them again and resetting using a paperclip but it doesn't seem to be working, any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Hello@Merlopilot ,

Welcome to our community.

If your powerline adapter is having self-rebooting issues, please try the suggestions below:
1. Try plugging the adapters into different wall outlets to rule out any electrical issues.
2. Ensure that your Powerline adapter is running the latest firmware. Instructions for updating can be found here:How to update the firmware using tpPLC Utility (new logo)
3. Reset the powerline devices to factory settings and reconfigure them.

  • How to reset:
    • For TL-PA4010 (the models which start with TL-PAxxxx), press and hold the Pair button for 15s until all LEDs turn off and then come back on.
    • For TL-WPA4220 (models beginning with TL-WPAxxxx), press and hold the Reset button for 10s. Release the button and all LEDs turn off. When the LEDs turn back on, the reset process is complete.
