After replacing my previous TP-Link router (archer 1600 gxv ) with a Deco XE75, my wired NYX Hyper8 DVR (Model: 20016-v1.4) is no longer viewable in the SuperLive Plus app, despite being detected on the local network and accessible via web browser.

 

🔧 Setup Details:

 

    •    DVR model: NYX HYPER8, HW v20016-v1.4

    •    Connected via Ethernet to the Deco XE75

    •    IP assigned via DHCP (IPv4, IPv6 disabled)

    •    DVR web interface reachable locally via browser (port 80)

    •    Ports used by DVR:

    •    HTTP: 80

    •    HTTPS: 443

    •    Server port: 6036

    •    RTSP: 554

    •    No cloud/p2p menu visible on DVR

    •    DVR was previously accessible externally and internally using same SuperLive Plus app and QR code when connected to an older TP-Link router.

 

✅ Tests & Results:

 

    1.    LAN Connectivity Confirmed

    •    DVR appears in Deco device list with valid IP

    •    Web access to DVR interface successful from local devices

    2.    App Connection Failure

    •    SuperLive Plus does not show live feeds (locally or externally)

    •    Cannot manually override port from 80 in SuperLive Plus

    •    Tried deleting and re-adding device via QR code and LAN Search — app detects device and port 6036, but no stream loads

    3.    NAT Port Forwarding Attempted

    •    Ports 80, 554, and 6036 forwarded manually in Deco app

    •    No change in internal or external app connection

    4.    Deco Features Checked

    •    No options for “HomeShield,” “Client Isolation,” or deep NAT rules in Deco app

    •    No visible logs or device-specific traffic monitoring in app

    5.    Rebooted Deco Router

    •    No effect

 

🆘 Help Needed:

 

    •    How to ensure port 6036 traffic is not being blocked internally by Deco?

    •    Is there any firewall or isolation mode on Deco that may interfere with LAN device streams?

    •    Any additional steps to expose DVR correctly for LAN and WAN streaming via apps like SuperLive?

Hi, thank you very much for your time and patience.

It is suggested to check the IPV4 address on the Deco XE75 to see whether there is  a public IP address and the same as your IP address here:

https://whatismyipaddress.com/

If they are different, there might be one more firewall( or another ONT router) in front of Deco.

It is suggested to check the IPV4 address on the Deco XE75 to see whether there is  a public IP address and the same as your IP address here:

https://whatismyipaddress.com/

If they are different, there might be one more firewall( or another ONT router) in front of Deco.
