Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0

Hi everyone,

Is it only me or since update 1.4.2 my AX6000 is losing internet without recovering from it 4 to 5 times a week. I use it with a VPN and I get the error Tunneling connection failed when I try to access the router from lan. Even the theter app don't see it if I try to connect to it from my cellular data. I must manuelly reboot it with the power button. This became annoying as I'm working from home and it fail randomly during the day or night.

Thank you have a great day

@Joseph-TP Thank you for your response.

My AX6000 is in router mode and it's been working well until this update. After some research I found a beta version 1.4.3. I updated to this version and I stopped having this problem. Nothing has changed or been touched in months appart this update that has been done two weeks ago. I seem to be alone with this problem but it is now resolved.

Thank you

Hello@PhilippeR ,

Welcome to our community.

Is the router AX6000 working in Access Point mode? If yes, please refer to Archer AX6000 v1 Access Point Mode not working after firmware update to 1.4.2

If it is working in wireless router mode and router Internet LED turns red/orange occasionally:
    1) Connect a PC directly to your modem to verify if your ISP's Internet is stable.

    2) Ensure the Ethernet cable connecting your modem to the Router is properly connected, and replace old wires with new ones.
    3) Change the DNS Server of the Router, log in to the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > Network > Internet > Advanced Settings, and change the two DNS Servers to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8
How to Change the DNS servers on the wireless router and DSL modem router (New UI)?
