Combined M5 and M4 network .. M4r go off line often

I have a combined M5 and M4 network. The M5 devices are always on line and work without issue.
The M4 devices were introduced recently and were rock solid for about 1 month. Recently all three have started to show as off line. When they go off line the Wi-Fi is effected so it is not just a display issue in the controller.
- In order to work out what is going on, I have removed all but 1 M4 and it is connected via Ethernet. This device continues to have the same issue.
- All devices are on the latest firmware and controller is updated
- The M4 devices were bought used however I started to experience issues with all 3 at the same time so I do not think I have a hardware issue.
Any advice?

Hi, welcome to the community.
Can I have the current firmware version of your Deco M4 and Deco M5?
Did all satellite Deco M4 units turn flashing red?
Could you please also refer to this link to help me submit the Deco APP log: How to submit Deco APP log
Wait for your reply.

@David-TP - thanks for the welcome.
Version is 1.7.0 20250228 rel. 64570 on the m4
The unit LEDs remain solid yellow so look as though they are connected but I seem to have wifi issues when they are showing disconnected.
I have uploaded logs via the instructions you provided in the app not sure how I connect them to this though?

Hi, thank you very much for the App logs.
(When you tick "add system log", a feedback email will be sent to us with the log file as an attachment.)
I think the LED should be solid white. "Yellow" usually means the Deco is restarting.
Can I have the model numbers of the devices that also drop out when the Deco APP reports satellite M4 offline?
Both Deco M5 and Deco M4 support "Connection Preference". It is also suggested to set the preferred Deco and connected WiFi band on these devices to see whether it helps:

Hey yes you are correct, white lights not yellow ... was doing it from memory.
The model number is 'M4R'.
I uploaded the logs yesterday so I guess you can find them.
Currently the deco satelites are using 'auto' however I don't think that that is the issue because the only issues I see are with the 1 M4 that is currently part of the network (I have removed the other 2 M4s for now) and the one that remains is ethernet backhauled. This means I cannot set its connection preference (its always going to be the main deco that it is hardwired to). I don't think I need to set any preferences for client connection because I see the issue of the M4 dropping out across multiple devices that run the deco app and via the online app... i.e. its the deco central servers that are seeing the M4 as off line not any particular client...

See above. The 'Gym' satelitte is the M4R, it is connected via ethernet to the Study (main deco). So the above is saying that 'Study' cannot see gym eventhough they are connected with ethernet. Note I see the same behaviour when I add more M4s that are wifi connected rulling out an ethernet cable issue (I know the cable is reliable). Interestingly gym now appears as constantly offline. If I restart it, it will come on line for perhaps 30 mins then go off line again,

Thank you very much.
I did receive the App logs. Currently, I don't have other suggestions and have escalated your case to the senior engineer for further assistance.
Please check your email later for more suggestions.
Best regards.
