Unable to connect to 5GHZ Wifi on Wifi Extender
In pakistan the Wifi channel 48 is not supported but that is what the 5ghz network has as it's default settings. Also I'm unable to change the channel to 149 or higher through settings. So how am I supposed to use the 5ghz network?

Hello @S22_Ultra ,
Thanks for your reply.
There is no setting to modify the channel on the range extender. Generally speaking, the channel in the network is determined by the router. Also, if your PC can connect normally, but only your phone cannot connect to 5Ghz, I suggest you contact the phone support or router support to ask if there are other settings that can be modified to connect to 5Ghz?

Hello@S22_Ultra ,
Welcome to our community.
To the best of my knowledge, the PK region should be permitted to use channel 48.
If you cannot detect the 5Ghz, please refer to TP-Link Extender is not detecting the 5GHz Signal of the Main Router

@Jacfuaoseph-TP actually you can google it anyther under channel 149 has been banned by government of Pakistan. Also it's not the tp link wifi extender that can't detect the 5ghz signal. It's my s22 ultra that refuses to connect to the 5ghz signal provided by the wifi extender since it runs on the settings provided by the network providers. I even tried to connect it via Qr code and manually try to add the network but it simply refuses to 5ghz. Keep in mind my computer has no troubling connecting to this 5ghz connection provided by the extender.
