Crash Analysis Please

Hi, I have done some reconfiguring and have decieded to upgrate to BE85 from x50. I need to allow the x50 run for a bit and thought everything was settled and stable. This morning in Europe, the main deco in question crashed. I've attached the log file and just left the 9:22am event. Could someone have a look through and maybe, provide me some indication if there is something I need to change or is it some sort of system error??
For some reason the txt file would not attach so I put the text in a word doc format.
Operation mode is access point and one curiosity is why I see so many reference to "mobile"
Thanks
thomas

Again another crash ay 10:01 on July 25....
In the error log attached I see ALL issues related to getting sim status and "mobile"... The router is in and always has been in access point mode... Why is code executing related to the sim or mobile?

Last fiile I send for now. This router is continually active creating errors around sim status and mobile......
This is access point... Maybe I'm wrong but spending limited CPU power to execute checks or code that should not be active in Access point mode.
In this file, there was no crash... I was just clearing logs to have a fresh start and these keep popping up like crazy.
thanks
thomas

Hi, thanks for your time and patience. Sorry for the delay.
Currently, the SIM/mobile status-related logs can not be removed. I'll report to the engineers to see if there is any further optimization later.
The system log takes a small part of the CPU/memory usage, and the new logs will override the old logs, which will not affect the network stability.
When Deco X50-5G is in AP mode and the internet drops out, will its LED turn red?
Have you tried to disable "Smart DHCP" on the Deco APP>More>Advanced?
By the way, apart from Deco X50-5G, do you have other Deco Mesh models in the network?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi David.
Thanks for the reply.
While i agree the system log itself takes a small memory or cpu bandwidth... The background checks for things that are not active, I worry do have an impact. Thanks for checking to see if that could be optimized further.
When Deco X50-5G is in AP mode and the internet drops out, will its LED turn red? Yes, It turns red and then likewise the satellites, sometimes the satellites dont recover.. (or maybe Im not patient ehouch :))

I have not tried this but can. Could you indicate what benefit thous would bring? I am remote these days so if changing this setting would disrupt the service, I will wait until i return before making changes...
I am SUPER curious to understand if there is some indication in the erros logs, about what is causing the crash. Are they able to read and give some indicaiton?
ny optimization suggested will be beneficial and through this investigation, learn more about the nuances about how deco works and the impacts of certain configurations.
As for stability. I've seen a beta FW aimed at stability for different versions BUT could you see about if there would be a similar update for the V1- x50-5G?
By the way, apart from Deco X50-5G, do you have other Deco Mesh models in the network?
Yes, I have 3) x50-outdoor and 1) x1500 Screenshots below.

Hi, thank you for the update.
When "Smart DHCP" is enabled, even in AP mode, Deco could assign IP addresses for mobile devices to maintain an active local connection if the actual DHCP server is down. It might cause trouble after the actual DHCP server is recovered, but the previous DHCP release time on the mobile devices hasn't expired.
Basically, disabling "Smart DHCP" prevents Deco from randomly activating its DHCP function in AP mode when the ISP router consistently works well.
In AP mode, almost every Mesh unit behaves quite similarly. I think it might be better to set another Deco, such as the Deco X1500 here. Deco X1500 is much simpler compared with Deco X50-5G, which is a multi-gateway Deco.
As for the beta firmware, do you refer to this post for Deco X50-5G_v2:Enhance the Overall 5G network stability for Deco X50-5G_V2
A similar firmware fix has already been introduced into the 1.2.1 official version of Deco X50-5G_v1.
Best regards.

Thanks David.. with these suggestions I will have a couple possible things to try. Both seem useful to try. I won't be back there for at least another wek but I will let you know the result once I try them...

OK .I will try that when I get back there

You're saying to set the x1500 as the main deco? Thats quit easy and a really good idea..I originally had a sim in the x50-5g but then changed service provider.
I will try this also as it does sound pretty promising to not have the more complex and busy router as the main deco, unnecessarily.

OK... then i have the best available...thanks
