Hi,

 

I just purchased hos Wireless Access Point and is trying to install it. Everything went smooth except that I cannot make the wireless radio change channel on 5 GHz. I need to change the channel since it interferes with another wireless 5 GHz radio nearby. 

 

If I change the channel on the 2.4 GHz radio it works fine, though. Perhaps a bug in the firmware?

 

Anyone with the same problem? Any ideas how to fix it?

Have you checked other clients to see if they're correctly using the router's 5G channels?
Also, please note that some devices support limited channels. We recommend directly checking with the radio support department to confirm the radio's compatible 5G channels.

I forgot to write that the TP-Link web interface allows me to change the channel but the radio does not actually change the channel accordingly.
