HB710: Unable to access DLNA over wifi but works fine over LAN
Hi,
I have a HB710 WiFi router which is connected to my Internet Gateway device. I connect all the devices on my home network to HB710, either via LAN or Wifi. MY DLNA server is directly connected to the HB710 via LAN & I'm able to access my DLNA media content from other devices like my desktop, when they connect to the network via LAN. However, I'm unable to access the DLNA content via any devices that connected to my network via wifi (for eg, my mobile phone, tablet) - I can still ping the DLNA server and even access the shared folders on it. I noticed that if I use the wifi connection option for my desktop then I can't access the DLNA content from my Desktop. All devices were able to access the DLNA content via wifi when using my earlier ASUS router
It appears as if HB710 is blocking DLNA access via wifi or probably filtering out the DLNA packets.
Can anyone advise on how to resolve this? It's a pain not being able to access my media file through my phone and tablet.
