TP-Link Deco X20 Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Powered with TP-Link Mercusys MS108GP PoE+ 8-Port Gigabit Switch with 7 PoE+, 30W per PoE Port.

Hello, I purchased the
TP-Link Deco X20 Wi-Fi 6 Mesh, Dual Band AX1800 (3-pack).
I need to connect one of these three devices to my home network away from home. I only brought one network cable, which I used to connect a TP-Link Mercusys MS108GP PoE+ 8-Port Gigabit Switch with 7 PoE+, 30W per PoE Port.

Question:
Can I connect the Ethernet cable from the TP-Link Mercusys MS108GP PoE switch (which carries both data and power)
to a DECO X20 powered by a cable and a 220V transformer?
Does the POE switch understand that the X20 is powered independently, and therefore only carries data via the Ethernet cable, not low-voltage power?
Is there interference between the POE cable from the POE switch to the DECO and the functionality of the DECO, which must be powered via a cable connected to 220V power?
Do I need to make any settings on the POE switch?
Thanks

Hi, do you want to achieve:

Internet----main Deco X20---MS108GP---satellite Deco X20

It works, and the switch can learn that the end device is not POE-capable and only carries data via the Ethernet cable.

The POE cable is a general Ethernet cable.

Usually, Deco can automatically detect the Ethernet Connection and connect to the main Deco over Ethernet Backhaul. There is no need for extra configuration on the switch.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
