Model: RE450
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.20

My re450 gives me half the bandwith that my router gives me.

In details, my router gives me 350 mbps, but the re450 gives me only 100 mbps.

I tried various troublshoots and all did not work. What I tried so far: disable 2.4 ghz, enabling high speed mode, updating the frimware, and changing the router location a bit knowing that i am getting just right in the app.

I would like help not anything else.

Hello @Kashlan8857,

Thanks for contacting our community!

Range Extenders extend WiFi coverage rather than boosting speed. Devices connected via an extender typically experience ‌about 50% slower speeds‌ than a direct connection to the router. This occurs because data travels over two wireless hops: Device ⇄ Extender ⇄ Router. If the speed is lower than expected, follow these steps:
    1. Assign a different SSID to the extender’s 5GHz band and connect to it to test speed improvement.
    2. Reposition the extender and adjust its antennas for optimal performance. Detailed guidance is available here:
How to place your wireless Range Extender for optimal reception and performance.
Note: For accurate speed measurements, use the Speedtest application (https://www.speedtest.net/apps/) or website (http://www.speedtest.net).
