Slow Ethernet Speeds BE550
Hello,
I recently upgraded to the BE550 and have been impressed with the Wifi speeds, getting over 1gbps on wifi. However, when running speed tests on ethernet connected devices, I am getting between 100 and 200 mpbs.
It seems after a reboot that the issue is temporarily fixed, but it reverts back a bit later.
Firmware is updated, replaced ethernet cables.

When the wireless speed drops, have you tested if the wired speed of BE550 works normally?
Please tell me the network topology, is it connected to the ISP modem and working in wireless router mode?
If the wired speed drops, please try different Ethernet cables (CAT5E or above) between the ISP modem and the Router.
Try a few other speedtest servers, other servers might reach better speeds.

Hello,
The wireless speeds have been fine. Just the ethernet speeds. The router is connected to my own modem, a Motorolla MB8611.
All ethernet cables are at least CAT6 and have been swapped out multple times.
Trying other speed test servers as well as other devices has given the same results.

This might be unrelated since rebooting your router seems to work but with my BE800, my desktop would hang around 200mbps and I have 1gig up and down Fibre. The solution which someone else on this forum found was that if you put a speed limit on your device to what its capable of it fixed the issue.
I think you may have to do it from the app but going to the client and within there you can set a speed limit. My desktop only has a gigbit ethernet so I just set it to 1000/1000 and now it maxes out my internet connection. No idea why that works and it hasnt ever been fixed

So, wired speeds will drop after a while of regular operation, right? Have you tested different wired clients?
Please try different LAN ports of the router for comparison.
Please set QoS for your wired clients.
How many clients do you have? Remove all other clients, test one wired client for a try.

Yep, my other issue is being worked on with the engineers. I just wanted to point out to the OP about something I had to do to fix wired connection speeds on my BE800, might be similar
