Phenomenon Description:
We've received feedback from users indicating that after updating the router's firmware to the version mentioned above, the web interface page will not display correctly and most menus become invisible when logged into the page. When this happens, all devices connected to the router continue to connect to the internet without issue.
Workaround/Solution:
We understand that this situation can be frustrating. Please be assured that we have prioritized this concern, and our team is actively investigating to identify and resolve the underlying cause as quickly as possible.
As a workaround, please try changing the Mode of your web browser to Light Mode to see if the web interface page of the router displays correctly as expected.
For Google Chrome, navigate to the three-dot option and click on Settings > Appearance > Mode, choose Light:
For Firefox, you can find the Mode settings as below:
You should find similar settings for your browser to change the mode. If you're not sure how to modify these settings, please Google online or feel free to let me know.
Thank you very much for your feedback and cooperation!

Hey there,
Me too, i noticed that the Tether app considers my router as a local device then as a cloud device.
When i try to log into my router when it's marked "Local device", it fails but with "Cloud device" it logged in normally. I don't know if it's a normal behaviour or not.
And also occasional login error while looking into my router's settings in Tether app.
I also saw that the reports page does have some arbiterary information that doesn't reflect router's state like "Threats prevented" marked with "Example" tag on the right corner.
Final thing, those reports get deleted automatically, is it a normal procedure on the app or is it a bug?
Thanks.

It happens to me that the app sometimes doesn’t correctly detect my AX53 router. It shows up as a Cloud Device, but when I try to log in, I get the issue shown in the screenshot. I have to try again, sometimes more than once. This has been happening since firmware version 1.4.2. My router is currently on version 1.4.4 and it still happens. The app is on its latest version, 4.12.5.

I'm not seeing the 1.4.1 update on the router support page
https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/download/archer-ax72/v1/#Firmware
Can you provide a direct link to the firmware so it can be updated manually?
@rtk33 I apologize that we don't have a direct download link for that version.
I assume it's not allowed to upgrade manually. It's suggested to wait for the new 1.4.3 version.

However, if you don't want to change the web browser to Light Mode to allow the web interface page display correctly, I suggest you wait for the next official version, which could be a new 1.4.3 version.
@Kevin_Z when would be available the next update? I have same problem with the router web interface and it is very annoying... Please, give us a reliable date; very soon not give us too much information.
Thank you in advance!

@Kevin_Z by the way, is it possible to downgrade the firmware until next 1.4.3 version is available?

if the future update takes a year to update for something that simple, that`s not a future update, that will be a device replacement!
