Model: XX800v
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1 - ISP cutom (Wind3)

Hello,

first of all sorry for my poor English.

In my home setup I use a XX800V customized with ISP firmware (Wind3) as main router.

I've tried Tether and Aginet mobile app with no luck to manage the router.

Aginet recognize the router, but when I try to connect, give me an error similar to "Unable to connect. Unstable network".

Is there any chance to use an app to manage it?

Thank you,

have a good day!

Chuck26

Hello@Chuck26 ,

Welcome to our community.

As we know, XX800V is a customized device specifically designed for local Service Providers. Its software is tailored to meet the unique requirements of these providers, ensuring alignment with their specific needs. Our ability to provide troubleshooting may be limited.

I'm not sure if the Aginet app is compatible with the XX800V.
Generally speaking, the app doesn't lose modem management permissions simply because you change ISPs.
I recommend resetting the modem and reconfiguring it.

  @Chuck26

Since this router is targeted for ISPs (it runs a customized FW) it's best to contact yout ISP whith this question.

For example, here's a list of Tether compatible wireless routers, which doesn't include the GPON routers like XX800v.

Thank you for your kind reply.

Unfortunately I own this router but my current ISP is changed, so I have no more support available.

Any experience from someone with Aginet App?

Thank you,

have a good day.

  @Chuck26

Here's a document which describes how to use an Aginer App to change your ISP provided router settings.

But since you're with a new ISP, which may not use this certain router model in its network, there's a possibility this won't work for you.
