Sharing Folders on Deco while in Router Mode?
I have a 2 Pack Deco E4 setup. Connected directly to the NBN (FTTP). Internet is working on it fine. in Router Mode. I read up abit and found if want to share folders on the network its needs to be setup to Access Point Mode. I tried this and cannot get it to work. I believe its because I have modem between the NBN and the Main Deco. I only have a Google Nest, which was replaced by the Deco.
Can I change some settings in the Deco while its in Router Mode, so I can see Shared Folders on the Network. Or can I make the 2nd Deco Unit an Access Point.
Access files on my local Windows Desktop PC, hardwired to the 2nd Deco Unit.
Don't know what modem number my NBN Box is. It sits on the inside garage wall, then goes to a wall socket. Then I plug the Decon main unit into the wall socket in the kitchen.
hmmm funny enough, I now see shared folders in VLC to watch my videos, But don't see shared folders or Computers on the Laptop.
