As the previous post about version 1.7.0 was too long to navigate for information on the newly released 1.8.0 version, I have created this new post. Kindly share your feedback on how the new 1.8.0 works. Your input will greatly benefit other users.
Thank you very much.

@ARGamingPK1 thank you! I downloaded and installed the firmware 1.8.1.
However, the speed problem on the 5G network persists. The maximum speed only reaches 200mb. My network is 650mb, and on 5G it used to reach around 300mb to 350mb, but now it doesn't exceed 200mb.
I don't know what they did in these last updates, but it's not good and it lost a lot of performance ![]()

@wmosquini Check QoS settings if the speed limit is set you can turn OFF Qos Settings or change the speed limit to 1000 Mbps.

@ARGamingPK1
I'm sorry, but firmware 1.8.1 didn't help. Mine had QoS configured to 1000mb. I chose to disable it, but the problem still persists. It's surreal how TP-Link managed to mess up the device (excuse the rant).
Literally, everything is bad. Playing online games is laggy. Watching videos is choppy. I work from home and frequently have calls, and everything starts to freeze. It's disappointing and I regret the moment I clicked on the upgrade notification.
I tried to downgrade via web access to version 1.6.5, but it's not allowed. Is there any way to do this?

@wmosquini Yeah you can install 1.6.5 by using Recovery Mode and i think you can do factory reset and do the setup again on 1.8.1 firmware or you can try AP Mode.
