XX530v V1 - GPON registration goes from O5 to O2 all the time
XX530v V1 - GPON registration goes from O5 to O2 all the time

Before someone reply saying "As XX530v is a customized model for some ISPs only, you may contact your ISP"
****this model is actually sold at retail stores in Brazil.****
Now the problem:
I got this ONT recently, but it can't keep GPON registered. It goes to O5 state, but in 2 seconds or less, it goes back to O2, then O5, and it continues indefinitely.
The only value I needed for it to register on OLT was GPON SN. If I inform it wrong, it never registers.
But if I inform it correctly, it never remains in O5.
Is there some known issue with this router?

Hello@patroll ,
Welcome to our community.
Unconventional router models like the XX530v are often ISP-customized devices.
Sometimes, they're sold in specific regions and come with regional features to accommodate local network configurations.
If you bought through a retailer, I would recommend you contact the local support team; they can help you configure the router.
Also, could you let me know who your ISP is?
Best Regards.

@patroll Probably OLT is also validating hardware version, therefore XX530v can't register.

@colcata OK, but how do we change it? We should be able to change that information using commands, right?
Like this:
flash set HW_HWVER XXXXXXXXXXX
ODI stick and VSOL ONUs (among other ones) allow changing these informations.
How do we do it in XX530v?

@colcata ,
@reffsZA ,
Have you tried to contact your local support for help?
As I mentioned, non-traditional router models like the XX530v are often custom-built by your ISP.
However, they are sometimes sold in specific regions and come with regional features to accommodate local network configurations.
If you bought through a retailer, I would recommend that you contact your local support team for further assistance.
By the way, can you tell me who your ISP is?

Hello@onemoreaussie ,
Thanks for contacting our community.
You have contacted the local support and done troubleshooting, and the tech support suggested that you replace the XX530v, right?
Did you receive the device through your ISP? Who is your ISP? Also, may I know why the ISP refuses to provide warranty service?

Hello @gijuruna ,
Did you get the device from the ISP or buy it from a store?
Have you tried to contact your ISP or local support?

@patroll I setup mine but it also does this.
I suppose there's some thing else I must configure, but whatever this is, it's not something available through web interface.
Any advances on this?
