XX530v V1 - GPON registration goes from O5 to O2 all the time
XX530v V1 - GPON registration goes from O5 to O2 all the time
Before someone reply saying "As XX530v is a customized model for some ISPs only, you may contact your ISP"
****this model is actually sold at retail stores in Brazil.****
Now the problem:
I got this ONT recently, but it can't keep GPON registered. It goes to O5 state, but in 2 seconds or less, it goes back to O2, then O5, and it continues indefinitely.
The only value I needed for it to register on OLT was GPON SN. If I inform it wrong, it never registers.
But if I inform it correctly, it never remains in O5.
Is there some known issue with this router?

Hello@KaleviHeikkinen ,
Welcome to our community.
Where did you get the XX530v? Have you obtained it from your ISP or purchased it from a retailer? Does your ISP provide your configuration information?
It is recommended that you contact the ISP for suggestions.

@patroll In my experience, this happens when the device can't be registered in the network. xx530v doesn't have many options you can tweak regarding gpon, so all depends on your provider. Sadly 🥲

local supportHi All,
The information provided by your ISP significantly influences GPON device configuration, so we recommend contacting your ISP first to confirm configuration information and provide guidance.
If the configuration is unsuccessful, please contact local support with the details you encountered and include your ISP's information: Specifically, the ISP company and any relevant configuration information.

@patroll what format is your GPON_SN?
ASCII+HEX is for HWTCXXXXXXXX (assuming OLT is Huawei)
HEX is for 48575453XXXXXXXX (assuming OLT is Huawei)
and use Mode H or HH (assuming OLT is Huawei)
mention the first 4 characters of GPON SN and the OLT model

@Joseph-TP Can I request for a feature if you don't mind?
Instead of Mode Normal, H, Z, F, X and HH
make it simpler: Normal Mode, Mode Huawei, Mode ZTE, Mode FiberHome, Mode ALCL/Nokia and Mode Huawei-Extended
should be on every ONT, no matter what ISP-branded or retail it is
