XX530v - Allow changing VENDOR ID, SOFTWARE VERSION and other parameters for great OLT compatibility
Currently, the only possible GPON parameters to configure in XX530v v1 are the following:

But this greatly reduces compatibility with different providers, given this product IS AVAILABLE for retail in some countries, and people can buy it to replace ISP ONU/ONT, because it's a great router.
The problem is many internet providers validate more information that what is possible to configure in XX530v (V1), therefore my proposal is:
Allow a broader range of GPON parameters to be configured (AKA "OMCI information")
Like this:

(screenshot of another ONU)
For example, if a certain OLT need a specific value for SOFTWARE VERSION 1 that is different than what XX530v normally sends, this device could work with that OLT if that value could be configured (instead of being HARD CODED).
GPON SN is a example of this: the device has its own GPON SN printed below it, but it's possible to change it in order to allow it to be registered to the OLT.
We only need more parameters to be configured, like
Vendor ID
SOFTWARE VERSION 1
software version 2
OMCC version
Product Class
HW version
OUI
Device Serial Number
MAC
It would improve compatibility a lot, and make it competitive with other ONUs/ONTs.

Hello All,
To better understand your needs, we hope you can help us collect the following information:
1. Who is your ISP?
2. If you have used a different PON router before, what is the specific model? Was it provided by the ISP? Could you also provide the PON type you used previously? Was it also GPON?
3. (IMPORTANT!) What are the parameters that your ISP requires you to modify? Please provide the most complete list possible. Also, are all these parameters needed for network configuration?
4. If possible, please send a screenshot of the complete OMCI information interface of your previous PON router. (If any private information is involved, please mask it.)
Of course, we also welcome you and all other dear customers to send relevant information to support.forum@tp-link.com, attaching [Forum Escalation][ID 828308] XX530v - Allow changing parameters for great OLT compatibility as the Subject. We will have a dedicated person to assist in analysis and follow-up.
Thanks all!!
@Joseph-TP I don't understand why is this needed. Isn't easier if TP-Link just take a VSOL V2802RH as an example, and implement all the settings?
VSOL V2802RH is one of the most compatible ONUs around due to the amount of gpon settings users can configure.
Why can't TP-Link just enable the same level of configuration for XX530v?
I don't understand it.

@Joseph-TP I'm really happy TP-Link is taking care of this.
I'll give my contribuition below with template posted by @Joseph-TP 🙂
To better understand your needs, we hope you can help us collect the following information:
1. Who is your ISP?
Vivo 1 (Brazil)
2. If you have used a different PON router before, what is the specific model? Was it provided by the ISP? Could you also provide the PON type you used previously? Was it also GPON?
Yes, PON router model is Mitrastar GPT-2741GNAC-N2.
Picture below:

Yes, provided by ISP. PON type is GPON. Yes, GPON
3. (IMPORTANT!) What are the parameters that your ISP requires you to modify? Please provide the most complete list possible. Also, are all these parameters needed for network configuration?
These are the paramaters I cannot enter in XX530v because there's not fields for them in web ui:
software version 1: RTF7000VB1212
software version 2: RTF7000VB1212
Product Class: [Same as GPON Serial number]
MAC: [MAC ADDRESS with only letters and numbers]
Device Serial Number: [also MAC ADDRESS with only letters and numbers]
FAKE OK = ENABLED
This "FAKE OK" is needed because some commands ISP sends arent compatible with XX530v, so XX530v must reply with an "OK" to this commands.
Without it, device might be unable to register to GPON network.
4. If possible, please send a screenshot of the complete OMCI information interface of your previous PON router. (If any private information is involved, please mask it.)
PON router is locked by ISP, therefore i cannot enter this page.
